Why I need a place to stay.

County officials issued a mandatory evacuation order for 7 p.m. Thursday. It goes into effect at 8 a.m. Thursday.
Evacuation routes are U.S. Highway 77 North and U.S. Highway 87 North. Residents are encouraged to evacuate to Austin, San Antonio, College Station, San Marcos, Seguin or anywhere north.
Judge also signed an order enacting a curfew for the hours of 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily until further notice. He also declared a state of emergency.
He said if people chose to stay, it is at their own peril and they are to expect no water, power emergency service or medical doctors once the storm hits.
Rob and I are packin up Hex, Cleo, Ginger, and Alice and we're gettin the hell out of dodge.
